  21. Many situations and many fax software offerings will fail when the first page is
  22. in low density and subsequent pages follow in higher density.

  24. The next, and most insidious, is that you have a FAX operation running in the 
  25. background.  This is VERY often the case when comm tasks continue, but speed 
  26. and performance take unexpected hits.
